What "Hotel Arcata" clients says
good central location in a charming historic hotel with period furnishings.
It was a nice older building.
Comfortable bed. Charming older hotel.
Everything, everyone. The lovely old style hotel, very bright, the large glass windows.
The location was great. Liked the atmosphere. Loved the farmers market
Nightshift front desk worker was very kind, attentive, and patient. Rooms were comfortable. It also has a handful of breakfast options which ends at 10 am I believe.
Clean and comfortable
Staff was great.
very comfortable room with nice bathroom
The shower pressure was awesome!
Central location, on the square, lots of restaurants within walking distance. Very historic, wonderful old photos of local Native Americans and pioneers from the 1800s. Great restaurant in the hotel—Tomo Japanese. Quiet. Staff were ok once I made friends with them.
Clawfoot tub a huge bonus and it was very clean. It’s also a nicely decorated hotel with a historic vibe.
I was nice to be central to the town so we could walk to anything we needed. I thought it was fun to stay in a historical style hotel. They offered a continental breakfast but we didn't have time to try anything.
Historic building. Outside and main areas were done nicely. Cool staircase and banister. Wonderful historical photos displayed in hallways. Big window in room opened.
basic breakfast
Friendly staff. Location right in town.
Noise was reasonable especially after 10p. Easy on/off access to Hwy.
Good location, central Arcata. Easy to walk around.
Reasonable rates, comfortable beds
The hotel was restored in the original design, including the furniture - there was even a cute radiator and clawfoot bathtub. It's right on the square in Arcata, which is beautiful and great for the Saturday farmers market. At first I was disappointed that we didn't have a view of the town square, but the side street view was also very nice, with colorful scenery of the hill in the distance, old town shops, and a beautiful tree with red, yellow, and green leaves. The windows opened as well and the bed was comfortable.
That is an 1915 hotel kept as original as possible
Clean room good service excellent location
This is a historic hotel and it is amazing. Walking through the hallways and looking at all the pictures was great. The staff is amazing and they are so accommodating.
The central location was good in the small little town.
Location, price, delicious sushi dinner
